Why You Are Allowed To Eat Cholesterol

Despite what you might
read, it's actually ok to eat foods containing cholesterol. You won't get shot down in
flames, no cholesterol police will come and nab you So, what's the reason I
say you can eat foods with cholesterol?
Knowledge...
Knowledge...
Simple as that. If you
know what cholesterol is, you have a better understanding of the
issue, rather than just a 'follow the herd' mentality.
Ok, so here's some basic information about cholesterol. It's a substance made naturally in the body, and it's a vital ingredient of the cell building process - we couldn't survive without it. The danger comes from having too much of it, when it will start to line the walls of the arteries. This is not good, as it slows the speed and amount of blood flow, which has potential for serious illnesses, some of them slow and predictable, some of them instant and unpredictable. If you know anyone who has had a heart attack or a stroke there was a good chance that their arteries were plugged with this sticky, plaque-like substance.

Bear this in mind, and
it's understandable why cholesterol has a bad press, and the low
cholesterol bandwagon rolls along. Ok, fair enough, but what if you
could take the cholesterol out of the food you eat? Not before you
eat it, but after!
Sounds interesting doesn't
it!
Well lets take a look at
oatmeal. Oatmeal is considered a soluble fiber food, that is unlike
insoluble fiber (commonly known as roughage) soluble fiber is
actually digested by the body. When you eat oatmeal is acts like a
wick, surrounds a small bit of cholesterol in your stomach and
intestines and holds it until it leaves your body. To get the maximum
benefit from eating oatmeal you should be eating it daily.
Cholesterblock is similar in the way that it works with foods that you have eaten. However, it acts like cholesterol in your body, so your body absorbs less of the real cholesterol you consume plus it absorbs quite a bit more than oatmeal does. It effectively takes the cholesterol away from the food you have eaten, and gets rid of it with your other body waste.
Great - that means you can
pile into all the bad foods you were warned away from before, right? Well, to an extent. The
maxim of 'everything in moderation' applies here. Just because you
can, doesn't mean you have to! Using a product like Cholesterblock
and adding oatmeal to your diet means that you are allowed to have
the occasional 'naughty' food, and not worry about it.
It's all about contentment
in life, but it's not a license to go silly and eat as much
cholesterol as you can - it's that you now have the information to
make better decisions.
